Description

Medium small vintage pine wood box or carrying trunk, made in the 1940s probably, possibly for military use but maybe simply a tool chest or machine case. Steel bound corners and lid edge; steel handles and padlock hasp. The whole thing has been painted various colours over the years: most recently in army green, with red before that. We've lightly sanded the top coat so that the red shows through, and waxed it. Condition is pretty good structurally: it's very solid and all works fine. Cosmetically it has lots of signs of wear, obviously, but that's mostly within the paintwork. Interior quite clean (see pics) Dimensions: 67cm x 41cm x 30cm high
